Job Description
Since 1955 Midas has been a trusted automotive repair shop dedicated to providing top quality service to our customers. We take pride in our workmanship integrity and commitment to excellence. We are looking for a general service mechanic to join our team and help our customers take great care of their vehicles.
Responsibilities
As a general service technician youll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services on most makes and models of vehicles.
- Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes tire rotations and brake inspections.
- Conduct thorough multipoint vehicle inspections and identify potential issues
- Assist with minor repairs such as belt and hose replacement fluid exchanges and battery installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings to service advisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive service or mechanical work preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detailoriented
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Valid drivers license

Compensation: $25.00 $35.00 per hour
