We are currently seeking a new colleague in Bucharest Romania to join us as a Global Trade Compliance Specialist. You will be part of the Service Business Line organization and will belong to the Global Category Management and Trade Compliance team. This team covers the categories of Transportation Warehouse Packaging and Trade Compliance.
As a Global Trade Compliance Specialist you will play a pivotal role in standardizing and optimizing business processes while ensuring the organizations activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Working closely with the Category Team and key stakeholders across Business Lines you will be responsible for overseeing specific business processes ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving initiatives through standardized practices.
Your responsibilities
Update and implement recommendations on global Incoterms Policy.
Conduct root cause analysis of noncompliance and define risks for each preferred Incoterm differentiating between Business Lines Inbound Outbound Intercompany and Country specific.
Map and develop Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism business processes in close collaboration with relevant key stakeholders and coordinate the CBAM Reporting within our EU entities.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders to map document and implement global standardized procedures related to HS Code Management
Coordinate development of training programs for employees on regulations and practises
Keep abreast of geopolitical tensions and potential impacts to FLS
Assess current activities and maturity within our packaging category.
Develop a roadmap and identify key areas for improvements supporting our packaging strategy and drive global packaging sourcing and optimization initiatives.
Update relevant packaging instructions.
Traveling is to be expected to all regions of the world approximately 25 days per year.
What you bring
Strong knowledge of Global Trade Compliance field and Incoterms.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities on all levels.
Proven experience in change management and continuous improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively in a global and crossfunctional environment.
Detailoriented with a focus on process optimization and compliance.
Experience with vision strategy planning and
Bachelors degree in relevant field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in global trade compliance.
