Global Immigration Engagement Management services are vital for our global growth plans and will ensure the success of our GMS Immigration practice. The Global Engagement Management team is a network of professionals across the world who support our KPMG firms in their objectives of providing consistently exceptional services to our clients.

The Global Immigration Engagement Assistant Manager is an experienced and enthusiastic member of the KDN engagement team with previous supervising experience.

This role creates value through to the client service team through supervising and providing guidance to more junior members of the client servicing team.

Key Accountabilities

This role will include but not be limited the following activities:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for our globally coordinated clients within the GPS delivery model independently managing straightforward requests and escalations. Collaborates closely with Managers on more complex or sensitive matters
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client SLAs and proactively monitor performance to ensure that Local Offices deliver in alignment with agreed standards. Anticipate potential risks to SLA compliance and escalate in a timely manner to enable effective resolution. Act as the primary point of contact for Local Offices and ThirdParty Providers fostering collaboration and accountability across all delivery partners
  • Liaise with the individual applicants and HR counterparts to provide tailored advice and propose alternative options based on the input received from the relevant KPMG Local Offices
  • Provide support on ad hoc client projects initiatives process mapping exercises and technology implementation or enhancements
  • Identify opportunities to improve working practices and share suggestions with the Manager and Senior Manager
  • Support new client transitions and work closely with the wider KDN engagement team members in order to ensure that the transition is progressing well
  • Review clientfacing reports and support the Lead Office by providing the necessary data for the Quarterly and/or Annual Business Reviews with the client
  • Maintain and regularly update clientspecific templates and other materials. Create engagementspecific process guides
  • Demonstrate independence and a commitment to exceptional client service by producing highquality deliverables and reviewing the work of more junior team members to ensure consistency accuracy and excellence


In addition your responsibilities will cover the following areas:

  • Analyze information thoroughly and involve key people

Risk Management:

  • Escalate risk issues promptly and understand firm policies

Billing and Client Engagement:

  • Ensure timely and accurate bookings meeting targets
  • Support manager in monitoring financials and invoicing

Technology:

  • Maintain applicant info in KIM/LinkGo system
  • Ensure updated records and share finalized reports with clients


Requirements

  • Undergraduate University degree preferred
  • Demonstrate an understanding of immigration processes and common issues; keep informed of current immigration developments trends and best practises on a global level
  • 4 years of previous experience in global immigration coordination of medium and large clients
  • Understand basic and complex application processes
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Highly motivated and problemsolving attitude
  • Ability to maintain and enhance partnership with clients global vendors and local offices
  • Adaptability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to guide train and mentor junior team members
  • Project Management: Organisation and prioritisation skills including the ability to project manage multiple global immigration clients and work under pressure
  • Strong professionalism and overall confidence
  • Highly efficient with technology/ tools
  • Proficient communicator in written and spoken English (other languages advantageous but not required)
  • Ability to build relationships/ trust both with the internal teams and clients
  • Experience and ability to work with confidential material
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
