Job Description
Rochambeau The French International School is seeking a passionate and dynamicMusic Teacher/Animatorto join our team for theschool year. This parttime role presents an excellent opportunity for growth and could transition into a longterm substitute position.
Location:Bethesda MD
Job Type:PartTime; Faculty Association Collective Bargaining Unit (CBA) applicable
Salary Information:The fulltime equivalent salary range is $49911$109469 per the Faculty CBA Salary Scale. Teachers will be hired and employed in the highest category of teaching staff to which they are entitled in accordance with the degrees and certifications that they hold and the subjects and levels that they teach. The salary will be prorated to reflect the parttime teaching schedule.

Representative Duties:

Provide teaching and oversight for all musical practices. Introduce elementary schoolaged students to the music world using songs instruments and various instructional materials resources and experiences.
Teach 5 periods of 50 minutes a week for 5thgrade students.
Additional hours for rehearsals and endofyear musical performancemay be required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Music Education or relevant field desired
Prior teaching experience is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
Must have experience and be passionate about working with children.
