Burdock is a Brewery Restaurant and Music Hall in Bloordale now in its 10th year of operation. We are a small team of hospitality professionals who are dedicated to providing great service and making really good beer.
Sous Chef Position Details:
Burdock is looking to add a culinary leader to our kitchen team. Our kitchen is kind welcoming creative and passionate about food and the people we work with.
As the Sous Chef you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations supporting the Head Chef in leading our culinary team. You will be responsible for assisting in menu planning food preparation and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires a creative and organized individual who thrives in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate has 5 years kitchen experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. We work as a team with all members supporting one another with prep service cleaning and washing dishes.
This is a salary fulltime position with a 5day work week 4045 hours a week)
Job Type: Fulltime
Compensation: $55000$60000 depending on experience plus portion of tip pool and comprehensive benefits package
Vacation: Two Weeks
