POSITION DESCRIPTION /
Tangram Flex Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer with 35 years of experience in the construction of systems and system components from subsystem components. Embedded systems experience within the Department of Defense or as a contractor to the DoD is preferred. The candidate will work handson with software on embedded systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/
Application Engineers are the primary technical resource for the customer engagements and are responsible for actively driving and managing the program technology. As the key technical advisor and solution advocate the Application Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction. The Application Engineer must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the program lifecycle.
Responsibilities Primary:
Maintain high level of understanding around Tangrams solution and its application.
Articulate technology positioning to both business and technical users.
Provide design and development support to internal and external program resources.
Perform technical/product training for customer engineers within the program team.
Assist in the design and development of new features and integrations.
Travel to project sites to perform startup integration and training services.
Embody Tangrams vision mission guiding principles processes and core values.
Additional:
Assist in response to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Listen understand and convey customer requirements.
Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission values and financial objectives.
Maintain professional business relationships.
Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
Identify customer needs and opportunities to drive future growth.
Requirements
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE /
Required:
BS in Engineering Technical Field or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry role.
Possess the ability to obtain Secret (and above) Clearance.
35 years of experience in Engineering or Software Development.
Handson experience with software on embedded systems.
Experience working in or with the Department of Defense or DoD contractors.
Deep experience with C and C.
Composing technology and architectural documentation.
Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
Available for Travel.
Preferred:
BS or MS in Engineering Computer Science or related field.
Active Secret Clearance; TS preferred.
Handson experience with building systems and system components from subsystem components.
Understanding of Open Architectures.
Working knowledge and/or interest in Docker Java GoLang Rust Haskell etc.
A solid understanding of network communications technology.
Customer service and sales support experience.
Proven technology program delivery experience.
