Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth this Summer were looking to add a Materials Supply Chain Intern located in our Austin TX site.
Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager the student will assist with maintaining materials/purchasing data supply data and information to other production departments coordinating creating and maintaining outsourced parts schedules.
What a typical day looks like:
- Assists in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports spreadsheets graphics and charts based on the research of data.
- Prepares summary reports spreadsheets and charts based on research of data from multiple sources which may include but will not be limited to customer bills of material reports staff metrics PPV metrics and PPV form tracking.
- Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics.
- Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Participate in daily review of RMA transactions.
- Creates weekly purchase orders including all client parts and updates content list and item master.
- Assist in the supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI.
- Design manage and control all data research tools
- Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities were seeking for this internship assignment:
- Undergrad student pursuing Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related major
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative creative and excellent communication skills
- Previous internship experience a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
- Available to start on May 27th and work 40 hours/week (inperson) for 1012 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
