Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background mainly in backend technologies with a focus on Java for application development. Additionally experience with modern development practices such as Agile CI/CD and Domain Driven Design is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of an application development project. Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications; performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program.
- You will be working under supervision from the Technical lead/Project Manager or a Senior Developer to accomplish assigned tasks. At the same time contribute a design for specific deliverables and assist in the development of technical solutions.
- Job duties will include design development and testing using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Help maintain a rigorous software build and testing framework for continuous building and testing the developed software and keep track of failed builds or build issues.
- Prepare software technical documentation based on functional documentation and specifications taking into account any specified functional and technical requirements.

- You will participate as part of a team and maintain good relationships with team members and customers.
- You are expected to work within an international environment using a broad set of technologies and frameworks.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree holder in applied computer sciences applied informatics or a related field
- Multiple years of professional working experience Java/JEE application fullstack development technologies and tools
- Strong experience with Angular for frontend development
- Experience with designing & developing of applications using Java/J2EE technologies and tools such as Java JavaScript and Typescript Angular HTML CSS Spring Hibernate PostgreSQL JSON XML Maven Docker
- Handson experience with Cucumber for BDD
- Indepth knowledge of container platforms and Docker
- Experience in developing cloudnative applications
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Experience in the creation of technical designs and in leading technical designers
- Understanding of eventdriven architectures
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with large businesscritical applications
- Proven track record of working in Agile development environments
- Language requirements: fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and English
