Responsible for successfully executing all engineering/maintenance and housekeeping related tasks. Conducts maintenance of the building grounds and physical plant cleanliness of guest rooms public space recreation and laundry. Responsible for maintaining standards and regulatory requirements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVACR/Electrical/Plumbing.
OR
2year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction Engineering Mechanics or related major; no experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVACR/Electrical/Plumbing.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Supporting Engineering and Housekeeping Operations
May participate in developing project plans in accordance with renovation or new construction needs.
Assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance and asset protection plan.
Assists with managing the physical plant including equipment refrigeration HVAC plumbing water treatment and electrical systems in accordance with brand Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintaining Property Standards
Assists with managing and controling heat light and power.
Assists with maintenance of propertys life safety systems (e.g. fire fighting equipment sprinkler systems alarm systems).
May serve as a contact in regard to all hotel emergency procedures equipment and alarms.
Participating in team communications and achievement of departmental goals
Participates in ongoing communication in areas of Engineering and Housekeeping.
May communicate critical information to Engineering and Housekeeping leadership teams.
Works towards achieving departmental goals to produce desired results.
