Job Description
Job Title: Intern

Shambaugh & Son L.P. a whollyowned indirect subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc. is a customerdriven singlesource selfperforming construction/engineering firm. We specialize in the DesignBuild method of construction resulting in fasttrack delivery of the project improvements to our customers. We are one of the largest specialty contractors in the U.S. and the only one with all eight M.E.P (Mechanical Electrical Process Automation Refrigeration HVAC Plumbing and Fire Protection) design and installation capabilities inhouse. We perform more than $1 billion of construction projects per year with over 3000 employees throughout 50 states from our home office in Fort Wayne Indiana.

Job Summary: An intern will have a variety of assignments to ensure a wellrounded experience. The goal of any internship is for the individual to learn and explore areas of interest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn the responsibilities of your desired profession
- Fulfill administrative duties around the office
- Run errands for the staff
- Incorporate academic knowledge into handson work
- Work with AutoCAD or REVIT
- Work closely with senior professionals
- Complete required safety training
Qualifications:
- Attending an academic program (High School or University)
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint and Excel)
- Must be 18 years of age
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Selfdirected and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Willingness to learn new skills
