Job Description
SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans instruct students evaluate and monitor students performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity.
Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate with Music K12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Secondary Certificate with Music Approved AreaOR Music K12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 612 with Music Approved Area
OR
Standard Professional PK12 Music Certificate
OR
Arizona Arts Education Music PreK12 Certificate
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

LOCATION:Mansfeld Middle Magnet School 6th Street & Mountain Area
FTE :1.0 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar:9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
