Job Description
STV is seeking a Senior Accountant to work with our corporate accounting team. This position is designated as hybrid 3 days week/in office) and will be located in our office in Douglassville PA or New York NY.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for management and perform analysis to identify trends and explain variances from budget.
- Develop ad hoc financial reports and assist with automating the overall financial reporting process
- Supports monthend and yearend close processes including posting journal entries preparing account reconciliations and performing flux analyses.
- Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
- Oversee subsidiary ledger and assist with improving processes and aligning policies.
- Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.
- Works with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.
- Assist with accounting special projects including implementing new systems and integrating newly acquired companies.
- Prepares financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in an accounting supported by a minimum 3 years work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm
- US CPA licensure
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent communication
- A collaborative approach to management
- The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt
- Microsoft Suite of Products. PowerBI and/or Adaptive experience a plus
Compensation Range:
