Job Description
Job Title: Emergency Department Night shift APPs
Location: Dothan Alabama
Salary:
Shift: 8:00 PM 8:00 AM 7 shifts every 2 weeks
Job Overview:
Southeast Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Department Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding team in Level II Trauma ED. This department sees over 60000 patients annually and is a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role involves providing highquality care during overnight shifts making a direct impact on patient outcomes in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care to patients during the nocturnal shift in a Level II Trauma Center.
- Manage and treat a variety of emergency medical conditions in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians nurses and specialists to provide optimal patient care.
- Participate in emergency department procedures and assist with trauma cases as needed.
- Provide clinical support to ensure smooth operations throughout the night shift.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with current Alabama (AL) license.
- BCLS ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
- Previous experience in an emergency department or trauma center preferred.
- Strong ability to work in a highpressure fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially during highstress situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in emergency medicine or trauma care.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.
