Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our Power Projects Team is experiencing continued growth creating an exciting opportunity for a handson Construction Manager or an individual willing to step up into the role of Construction Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for site management of a major highvoltage (HV) substation and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) connection and secondary systems replacement project located in the South Burnett Region 100 km north of Toowoomba.
This role may require FIFO or DIDO on a 10:4 roster with LAHA/Site uplift. As part of a larger team you will work closely with the Project Manager and Frontline leaders providing practical construction nous to ensure the project is delivered within time budget and quality parameters.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Management and supervision of subcontractors supervisors & field staff
- Leads the delivery team and ensures quality delivery of planning and scheduling according to project requirements.
- Ensure project documents are complete and to document control standards.
- Lead by example and continually promote relevant aspects of Zero Harm when engaging with operational teams.
- Contributes to the development of project strategy business plan and budget.

ABOUT YOU
- Trade or tertiary qualified with an electrical/mechanical fitters licence and a certificate IV in Civil Supervision/WHS preferred.
- Exposure to Power Transmission or Substation projects.
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders up and downstream.
