Job Description

Leominster Public Schools

Anticipated Teaching Positions

Credit Recovery SUMMER SCHOOL 2025 Grades 612

Location: Leominster High School / Samoset Middle School

Positions: MS/HS Teachers (ELA/Math/Science/SS/ELL teacher)

  • Parttime/ Contractual Hourly Rate $50
  • 18 hours a week Program runs June 30th July 2nd July 31st (MW first week/MTh last four weeks 7:45am 12:15pm)
  • June 25th 4 hours of planning with content specialists (Contractual $40/hr)

** Attendance for all five weeks 19 days) is strongly encouraged **

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily lessons aligned with credit recovery goals.

  • Develop and administer pre and postassessments to measure student progress.

  • Deliver 19 days of instruction ensuring engagement and mastery of content.

  • Facilitate the first 30 minutes of each day dedicated to summer reading.

  • Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance participation and assessments.

  • Communicate with students and families regarding progress and expectations.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student success.



Report to: OnSite Coordinator and Administrator Renee Kostka Director of Teaching and Learning
