Job Description
Job Purpose
To provide subject matter expertise in the engineering design and review of piping systems tankages and pressure vessels across greenfield brownfield and strategic CAPEX projects. The role ensures adherence to technical standards safety and quality while optimizing costs and timelines. It also involves driving innovative design solutions and contributing to knowledge sharing for team capability enhancement.

- Conceptualization and Basic Engineering Review and Validation
- Review & validate initial concepts and basic engineering specifications for piping tankages and pressure vessels.
- Review and validate design basis to ensure alignment with project objectives technical feasibility and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure engineering solutions integrate seamlessly with overall project goals.
- Participate in feasibility studies and provide recommendations for optimizing layouts and material selection.
- Budget Tendering & Ordering support
- Review cost estimates for piping tankages and pressure vessel systems during the budgeting phase.
- Validate technical specifications and evaluation criteria for tendering and vendor selection processes.
- Support procurement teams by conducting technical evaluations of vendor proposals and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Provide expert input to finalize vendor contracts ensuring costeffective and highquality solutions.
- Detail Engineering Review and Validations
- Review and validate detailed engineering drawings and calculations to ensure adherence to design standards and project specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes such as ASME API and applicable safety regulations.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams to address complex design challenges.
- Coordinate with site team to resolve discrepancies and align designs with project deliverables.
- Capability Building
- Develop standards for piping tankage and pressure vessel design and implementation.
- Train site and project teams on advanced methodologies and safety protocols.
- Support project teams in staffing and technical resource allocation.
- Document lessons learned and promote knowledgesharing initiatives.
- Arrange workshops to enhance skills in material selection and system integration.
- Quality Control and
Safety Compliance
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols for piping tankages and pressure vessel systems.
- Conduct inspections audits and tests to ensure compliance with design specifications safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate vendor qualification and monitor their performance to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols across all phases of design fabrication and installation.
