About the company:
A semiconductor manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Lead monthly quarterly and annual financial closing processes in accordance with Indian GAAP and IFRS.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. GST TDS Income Tax Companies Act FEMA).
- Liaise with auditors tax advisors and regulatory bodies to manage audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls are maintained and improved.
2. Controllership & Governance
- Oversee accounting operations including general ledger AR/AP inventory accounting and fixed assets.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk and safeguard company assets.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate accounting records in the ERP system (e.g. SAP Oracle).
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Drive the annual operating plan (AOP) longrange planning (LRP) and rolling forecasts.
- Support business units in performance tracking cost control and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with FP&A team to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to leadership.
4. Strategic Finance Support
- Partner with manufacturing R&D and supply chain teams to provide cost analytics capex ROI assessments and cash flow planning.
- Lead initiatives in cost optimization working capital management and inventory control.
- Support financial due diligence transfer pricing and intercompany transactions for global operations.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals fostering a culture of compliance accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Promote knowledgesharing crossfunctional collaboration and a proactive finance mindset.
