Job Description

Support the effective integration and compliance of payrollrelated systems by ensuring accurate award interpretation and system configuration within the Time & Attendance (T&A) platform and Payroll systems. This role ensures data flows seamlessly between the T&A and payroll systems minimising manual intervention and supporting accurate and compliant payroll outcomes.

  • Configure and maintain award and enterprise agreement rules within the Time & Attendance system to ensure correct interpretation for payroll processing.
  • Collaborate closely with HR teams Payroll IT and system vendors to ensure a seamless data flow from time capture through to payroll output.
  • Investigate and resolve system discrepancies and compliance risks associated with award interpretation or data transfer.
  • Conduct regular audits and testing of system changes and updates to ensure ongoing compliance and data integrity.
  • Drive system enhancements and automation initiatives in the Time & Attendance and payroll ecosystem to reduce manual processes.
  • Be a subject matter expert on systembased award interpretation and compliancerelated queries.
  • Stay informed of legislative award and agreement changes ensuring timely system updates and testing to maintain compliance.
  • Provide input into payroll process improvement and system integration projects from a compliance and system configuration lens.
  • Support cyclical HR/Payroll activities where T&A system configuration impacts processing (e.g. public holidays Daylight Saving Time changes new sites/stores setup).

Qualifications :

  • 2 years experience in Time & Attendance and Payroll systems ideally with award interpretation exposure
  • Strong understanding of Australian Awards Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work legislation
  • Experience maintaining workforce management or time capture systems (e.g. Time2Work)
  • Preferred experience with payroll systems such as PayGlobal ADP
  • Proven ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver system solutions
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical/reporting skills
