Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) in WilkesBarre PA is seeking a BC/BE pediatrician to join our pediatric hospitalist team. Great opportunity to practice communitybased hospital medicine in an academic system.Job Duties:
7on/7off schedule
Coverage for deliveries as needed to include coverage for Csections. Care will be for lowrisk deliveries of well infants 35 weeks and above
Level III NICU onsite
AP support in the nursery
Most admissions from communitybased physicians and upon referral from ED
Receive consults from other services on admitted patients
Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents and medical students
