Due to this growth we are looking to fill two senior associate positions in our general commercial and property teams to work across a range of interesting and challenging matters.
You will enjoy the autonomy and responsibility of managing and leading a diverse caseload with the focus support and guidance as well as administrative assistance required.
General Requirements
Developing an understanding of client operations and strategy and providing tailored legal advice.
Conducting effective legal research including reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes.
Experience
This is a permanent opportunity to work on some of the complex corporate/commercial matters ranging from:
Shareholders agreement joint ventures and partnership advice;
Business acquisitions;
Shareholder/partnership disputes;
Corporate structuring;
General commercial advice;
Contract advice and disputes;
Employment & IR law; and
General taxation and superannuation advice.
About You
5yrs relevant experience in commercial law;
Strong expertise in commercial law;
Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects in a fastpaced environment.
Practical and client focused problem solving and research skills.
Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team.
Excellent organisation written and oral communication skills.
Well developed negotiation skills and attention to detail.
LEAP CITEC and RedCrest experience preferable.
