The Importance of the Role
The Opportunity to Make a Difference
This application is for a 6month coop program that will start on July 7th 2025 and conclude on December 19th 2025. This is a fulltime 40 hours a week coop program.
Gain knowledge and understanding of all facets of the procurement process from sourcing contracting requisitioning and supplier relationship management.
Develop fundamental procurement skills in building category strategy contract negotiation data driven problemsolving change management and continuous improvement.
Enhance interpersonal communication and collaboration skills as you work crossfunctionally with Procurement Finance Legal IT and various business stakeholders.
Work with Category Leads to develop sourcing strategy and participate in ongoing RFPs with business stakeholders.
Develop reporting analytics incorporating data from multiple sources including a newly launched sourcing tool to enhance current Procurement performance metrics.
Drive improvement projects with Finance and Accounting to streamline current processes under the guidance of Procurement Operations.
More about You
Graduate student enrolled in a masterlevel degree program pursuing a degree in one of the following: Supply Chain Management Operations Industrial Engineering International Business Economics/Math Business Management Finance Organizational Development and Information Science and Analytics.
Strong interest in learning about the procurement function and biotech industry.
Team oriented and able to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Creative eager to learn motivated and willing to take initiative on assigned projects/task.
This role is hybrid and expected to be in the office at the Cambridge location 12 times per week.
