Job Title: Hygiene Shift Supervisor

Location: Belfast
Salary: 37000 per annum
Contract Type: FullTime (Rotational Shifts: Day and Night)

Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Hygiene Team Leader to join a leading food manufacturing business based in Belfast. This role involves overseeing a team across a 4shift rotation ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards while maintaining compliance with industryspecific health safety and hygiene regulations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean safe and auditready environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of hygiene operatives ensuring tasks are allocated and completed to meet required standards.
  • Oversee the deep cleaning of the factory ensuring all areas comply with ABSS BRC and customerspecific standards.
  • Monitor the teams performance providing coaching and support to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures ensuring staff are working safely at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness in site facilities including changing areas offices canteen and site perimeter.
  • Ensure the site remains in auditready condition supporting internal and external audits as needed.
  • Manage waste and recycling processes efficiently in line with company standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience within an FMCG environment is essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with proven experience leading a team.
  • Ability to plan prioritize and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Proactive selfmotivated and highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing hygiene systems and controlling chemicals and equipment is desirable.
  • Waste and recycling management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in delivering training in areas such as Health & Safety IOSH Internal Auditing Risk Assessments and Pest Management is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with working with auditors and conducting performance reviews is desirable.
