Position Overview:
As a Used Car Technician at Thomas KIA of Highland you will play a critical role in diagnosing repairing and maintaining preowned vehicles. This handson fastpaced position requires strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with the service team to ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on preowned vehicles to ensure optimal functionality
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Identify and address safety concerns to maintain vehicle safety standards
- Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure performance
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Work collaboratively with other team members to streamline service processes and ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive technology and diagnostic tools
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Certification from a recognized automotive institution (preferred)
