Instructional Student Assistant Tutor Pool
POSITION
The College of Engineering and Computer Science Student Success Center invites applications for its Instructional Student Assistant Tutor Pool.
This is a pool of Instructional Student Assistant to draw on as necessary.
This is a temporary parttime position and tutors will be scheduled for work up to 20 hours per week Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 8am5pm during the semester.
JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision of CASECS Director the primary duties of the Student Success Center Tutor provide tutoring services to students onetoone or in small groups. Secondary duties may include providing assistance and support to the ECS Student Success/CASECS Center front desk and other ECS special events.
This position is an opportunity to gain experience in a professional environment build relationships with other tutors/ students at CSUF gain leadership experience and develop skills as a facilitator of learning.

COMPENSATION
All Instructional Student Assistant appointments are made under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the United Auto Workers. Initial appointments are for one semester only.
Classification Range: $17.01 $22.70 per hour
Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications not to exceed $18.00
MANDATED REPORTER PER CANRA
The person holding this position is considered a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 revised July 21 2017 as a condition of employment.
OUTOFSTATE EMPLOYMENT POLICY
In accordance with the California State University (CSU) OutofState Employment Policy the CSU is a state entity whose business operations reside within the State of California and requires hiring employees to perform CSU related work within the State of California.
