Job Description
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an IT Network Engineer for their Gaming studios in Belgrade Serbia.
Position: IT Network Engineer
Location: Belgrade Serbia
Employment type: Fulltime
Remuneration: Base salary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design configure and deploy network infrastructure components to support scalable and reliable connectivity that aligns with business objectives.
- Manage daytoday network operations by monitoring performance configuring devices and resolving issues to ensure high availability reliability and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain wireless network solutions ensuring consistent connectivity optimal performance.
- Adherence to security best practices across various environments.
- Utilize expertise in both Windows and Linux systems to configure network services monitor system health and apply security protocols to maintain infrastructure stability.
- Quickly identify troubleshoot and resolve networkrelated problems minimizing disruptions and maintaining service continuity.
- Implement and enforce network security measures including firewalls VPNs access controls and monitoring systems
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- 5 years of handson experience in network administration or engineering including managing enterprisegrade networking hardware and wireless infrastructure.
- Strong background in configuring and managing network hardware and wireless systems with a focus on performance scalability and security.
- Proficient in both Linux and Windows environments including experience with system configuration network services and administrative tasks.
- Indepth understanding of core networking protocols such as TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPNs BGP and OSPF.
- Working knowledge of network security technologies and practices including VPN setup firewall management and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Experience with network analysis and monitoring tools such as Wireshark PRTG Zabbix Nagios or Grafana to troubleshoot and maintain network health.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP would be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud networking environments (e.g. AWS Azure or Google Cloud) and hybrid/cloud network integration is a plus but not necessary.
