Job Description
Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED.
A successful background check is required.
Prefer experience working with school age children.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Patience flexibility love for children confidentiality teamwork selfstarter takes direction easily excellent communication skills behavior management skills assist in the classroom and in special education classroom.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion respect responsibility selfdiscipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Work with student throughout the day assisting with behavior and academics. Refocus the student in the classroom deescalate negative behavior recognize and acknowledge positive behavior work cooperatively with classroom teacher and Special Education staff.
