Job Description
Position: 21st Century Aide
Job Goal: Under close supervision of the 21st Century Site Coordinator and/or 21st Century Teacher assist with the daytoday programming activities within the After School 21st Century Program at Hyannis West Elementary School.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience working with schoolaged children
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Must be able to obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire (Preferred)
Reports To:
- 21st Century Site Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor childrens needs health and safety at all times
- Assist in organizing and facilitating group activities and projects
- Provide assistance during parent pick up
- Assist in ensuring safe play conditions for children
- Provide assistance to students during homework help
- Encourage children to participate in enrichment activities and organized games
- Demonstrate enthusiasm patience positivity and a strong work ethic
- Must work well in a team environment
- Other duties as assigned
Rate of Pay: Minimum wage
