Job Description

Position: 21st Century Aide

Job Goal: Under close supervision of the 21st Century Site Coordinator and/or 21st Century Teacher assist with the daytoday programming activities within the After School 21st Century Program at Hyannis West Elementary School.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous experience working with schoolaged children
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire (Preferred)

Reports To:

  • 21st Century Site Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor childrens needs health and safety at all times
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating group activities and projects
  • Provide assistance during parent pick up
  • Assist in ensuring safe play conditions for children
  • Provide assistance to students during homework help
  • Encourage children to participate in enrichment activities and organized games
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm patience positivity and a strong work ethic
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Rate of Pay: Minimum wage
