Description of Service Opportunity:
Cambridge Public School is seeking an enthusiastic and creative assistant Improv Club Instructor at CRLS to guide and inspire students in the art of improvisational theater. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in improv a passion for performance and a dedication to nurturing student creativity and confidence.
Responsibilities:
Assist the instructor in the following
Develop and lead weekly improv sessions for students.
Teach fundamental improv techniques including spontaneity collaboration and quick thinking.
Create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable taking creative risks.
Plan and organize improv performances and showcases for school events.
Encourage teamwork active listening and effective communication among students.
Foster an appreciation for improv as a valuable life skill and art form.
Collaborate with other arts instructors to integrate improv into broader school programs.
MinimumRequirements:
Bachelors
Experience working with students in theater
Length of Contract:
March 3 2025 June 13 2025
Contract Amount
Flat rate $4478.00
