Job Description

Join Ecolabs sales team as a Business Development Manager in the Life Sciences market.

Ecolab Life Sciences is focused on developing and commercializing cleaning & disinfection solutions for Global manufacturers of Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Health and Beauty products.

Ecolab Life Sciences provides differentiated solutions along with a wide variety of technical and validation services. You will serve as the face of Ecolab providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner safer and healthier environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive new customer acquisition
  • Manage significant deal volume and target account pipelines
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting prioritized opportunities
  • Respond to inbound lead generation leverage sales experience and skills to close new accounts
  • Leverage knowledge of industry and sales experience to establish credibility with current and prospective customers
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to inform managements strategic decisionmaking and to reflect appropriate management of the territory and sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to win new business
  • Transition customers to account management team responsible for postsales support
  • Identify competitive sales targets and facilitate crossdivisional sales opportunities

What You Will Need

  • Degree in engineering (Chemical Mechanical Industrial) or related field
  • Successful technical sales or outside sales experience utilizing a consultative sales approach
  • Ideally prior experience working in industrial environments
  • Willingness to travel in the assigned region
  • Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous business to business commercial sales experience
  • Industry related experience
  • Proven negotiation relationship management communication and presentation skills
