Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team in the Annapolis Junction MD area. Our dynamic team delivers information security solutions that facilitate secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors performs system security vulnerability assessments and solution development provide enterpriselevel network server desktop and application security services. Responsibilities may include:
- Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design development implementation evaluation and/or integration of secure networking computing and enclave environments
- Apply knowledge of IA policy procedures and workforce structure to design develop and implement secure networking computing and enclave environments
- Interact with the customer and other project team members
- Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design development implementation evaluation and/or integration of IA architectures systems or system components
- Support the customer in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures
- Support security planning assessment risk analysis and risk management
- Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of customer data
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Assurance Information Security System Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four 4 years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
- Seven 7 years experience as an ISSE on programs or contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
- Able to apply knowledge of IA policy procedures and workforce structure to design develop and implement secure networking computing and enclave environments
- DOD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required
- CISSP Certification is required.
