POSITION: Customer Service Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Value Stream
LOCATION: Waterloo ON
Position Summary
Customer Service Supervisor is a key role in our Value Stream. This role will correspond and collaborate with the other leaders in the Value Stream global commercial team and channel partners to ensure an excellent customer experience. Leading a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).
Essential Functions
Monitoring of customer POs meet compliance standards
Monitor order entry and maintenance of open orders per standard operating procedures
Coordinate with value stream leaders to execute and problem solve issues regarding customer orders
Creates the conditions/ opportunities/environment which brings out the best in the team
Provides leadership including setting performance standards for the team monitors performance includes corrective actions and performance appraisals.
Responsible for participating and leading hiring goal setting performance evaluation career development
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
EDUCATION
Related postsecondary education or equivalent experience is required.
A technical postsecondary or equivalent degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
24 years of related experience with a proven customer service track record in technical sales environment
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
COMPETENCIES
A Customer Obsession Mindset and passion for technical sales is required.
Demonstrated ability and experience working in a dynamic deadlineoriented environment is required.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask and or pivot where required
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Familiarity with ERP Systems strongly desired. JDE experience preferred.
Working knowledge of industrial equipment previous experience with a manufacturing ERP system and basic ability to read/interpret engineering drawings would be great assets to accelerate onboarding.
Physical Environment and Environmental Factors
Regularly works in an office setting.
Frequently required to stand sit talk and hear
Must be able to work in front of a computer for a large portion of the day. May occasionally lift up to 20lbs
