About this Role:
- Seeking Internal Medicine Physician Geriatric or Family Medicine for Medical Director Role
- Medical Director you will provide medical staff oversight services at our post acute rehabilitative and palliativecare institutions.
- Manage new admissions
- Attend Quality meetings
- Oversee and support inservicing of staff
- Ensure exceptional patient care in a postacute care setting
- Attend quality assurance and policy review meetings on a regular basis
- Help foster positive collaboration among care teams through open communication
- Flexible Schedule. MF Hours. No after hours or weekend call
Background Desired: Medical Director
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Internal Medicine or Geriatric
- Ability to hold a Virginia state medical license
- Willingness and ability to see patients the geriatric population
