Who we are looking for

Our night team is looking for slitter operators who can run a slitter for blown film.
What youll be doing
- Setting up and running a slitter to order specifications.
- Running slitter at maximum rate based on quality restrictions.
- Required preventative maintenance as needed.
- Weighing and wrapping all finished product from slitter and press department.
- Properly fill out all paperwork for slitter production.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by the management.
- A drive to succeed with a selfstarter approach and a cando attitude.
- Solid foundation of basic mathematical concepts.
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- High level of measuring ability.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds frequently 35 time per hour remove rolls and shafts from equipment and weigh and put on skid for an eight hour shift.
