UCTis looking for a talentedInventory Control Specialist Ito join us inAustin TX!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages inventory programs including inventory estimates and analyses maintenance of metrics tracked reporting to management and resolution of inventory issues that arise.
- ProActively increases turns by customer product and meets corporate goals.
- Provides recommendations for purchasing strategies inventory disposition and inventory management.
- Birddog POs from a macro level for overcommits cancels and push outs.
- Actively Manages the cycle count program reconciliation metrics and outside audits.
- ECN control and disposition follow up for affected material.
- Final review and reconciliation of work order variance and closure.
- Coordinates product transfers to other company manufacturing sites.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong presentation skills at all levels.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles procedures and standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Strong Excel and Access skills.
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP system Visual a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across many levels of the organization and on intersite basis.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in business/equivalent experience.
- APICS certification preferred.
Experience Requirement:
Work Experience:
- 3 years inventory analyst experience. Cost accounting experience strongly preferred. Manufacturing experience as scheduler or planner a plus.

- Ability to Talk on phone and use computer for extended periods of time may be required.
Environmental Exposure:
- Subject to frequent interruptions.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
- May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers faxes computer etc.
Overnight Travel:
Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting).
