About the Role:

The Sawtrim position plays a crucial role in the transportation and warehousing industry by ensuring that materials are accurately cut and prepared for distribution. This position requires a keen eye for detail and precision as the quality of the cuts directly impacts the efficiency of the supply chain. The Sawtrim operator will work closely with other team members to maintain workflow and meet production targets. Additionally this role involves adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Ultimately the Sawtrim operator contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring that products are ready for timely delivery to customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and machinery operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in operating saw trimming machinery.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of quality control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate saw trimming machinery to cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on saw trimming equipment.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate the flow of materials.
• Document production output and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include attention to detail and mechanical aptitude which are essential for operating saw trimming machinery accurately. Candidates will utilize their problemsolving skills to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the cutting process. Preferred skills such as familiarity with inventory management systems will enhance the candidates ability to track materials efficiently.
