Job Description

Your responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and IoT solutions for builtin refrigerators focusing on enhancing connectivity energy efficiency and user experience.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including mechanical engineers and product designers to integrate electrical components and IoT functionalities into new refrigerator models.
  • Develop and implement control algorithms for smart features such as temperature regulation energy monitoring and remote access through mobile applications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate electrical designs and ensure reliable operation of IoT systems.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance data using insights to improve system functionality and address any technical issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in IoT and smart home technologies to drive innovation in refrigerator products.
  • Prepare technical documentation including specifications design reports and user manuals to support product launches and customer understanding.
Your profile
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in electrical design IoT system development or related fields preferably in the home appliance industry.
  • Strong understanding of microcontrollers sensors and communication protocols (e.g. WiFi Bluetooth Zigbee) as they apply to IoT applications.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and embedded programming languages (e.g. C C Python).
  • Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and IoT integrations.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
