Job Description
As a Senior Accounts Executive you will be responsible for the endtoend Accounts Receivable function including applying accounts receivables and aiding the accounting team on adhoc projects such as balance sheet reconciliations reporting and analysis. You will also manage the Travel Expense Management System (CONCUR) and provide management with suggestions for improving AR accounting and business processes. The ideal candidate must exercise good judgment in various situations with keen attention to detail analytical skills and a basic understanding of accounting and organizational ability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Finance APAC.
- Handle the endtoend accounts receivable function including preparing billings for customers.
- Post receipts and apply payments to customer accounts.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger including bank accounts.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and files.
- Prepare aged receivables reports.
- Manage the Travel Expense System (CONCUR) endtoend.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes improve efficiency and workflows.
- Act as a backup for Accounts Payable and perform other adhoc tasks as required.
Qualifications :
- Degree in accounting finance or a related field from a recognized Malaysian university.
- 35 years of comprehensive accounts receivable experience.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience using ERP systems and intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines work under minimal supervision multitask and be a team player.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent fulltime role. Only candidates located in Malaysia and Malaysians or nonMalaysians with a valid permit to work in Malaysia will be considered.
- The successful candidate will undergo a stringent background check process including verification of qualifications prior employment history criminal records and credit/bankruptcy as part of the hiring process.
