Job Description

Partner Staffingis currently working with our client seekinga skilled Civil BridgeEngineer Project Manager to join the Infrastructure team in Edmonton Alberta.The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bridgeconstruction projects from inception to completion. They will manage projectschedules budgets resources and teams to ensure successful project deliverywhile adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage bridge construction projects frominitiation to closeout ensuring adherence to project specificationsschedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients stakeholderssubcontractors and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are metand expectations are exceeded.
  • Develop project plans schedules and budgets andmonitor progress to ensure timely and costeffective project .
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues andimplement effective solutions to ensure project success.
  • Manage project resources including personnelequipment and materials to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections tomonitor construction progress quality and safety compliance.
  • Prepare and present project status reportsprogress updates and budget analyses to stakeholders and management.
  • Foster a culture of safety quality and excellencewithin the project team ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations andstandards.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff members providingguidance and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; P.Eng.Designation is required.
  • 7 years of experience in civilengineering with a focus on bridge construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing bridgeconstruction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong project management skills including theability to develop project plans schedules and budgets and manage projectresources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillswith the ability to effectively liaise with clients stakeholderssubcontractors and team members.
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods materialsand techniques with a focus on bridge construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software andtools.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability tomotivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Commitment to safety quality and excellence inall aspects of project delivery.
