Job Summary
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team and assist at a teaching hospital in Weston FL. The successful candidate will oversee the safe effective and efficient care of patients in the operating room by sterilizing equipment preparing rooms and assessing patients before and after surgery. The registered nurse will also assist the surgeon during procedures. The operating room nurse should be a strong communicator with a friendly personality possessing the ability and physical stamina to provide a high level of care under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patients prior to surgery and alleviating their concerns.
- Gathering all supplies needed for the operation.
- Maintaining responsibility for keeping the operating room sterilized.
- Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary surgical instruments equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
- Assisting the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Experience: 2year experience required MUST HAVE strong liver experience DO NOT SUBMIT without strong liver experience.
- Firsttime Travelers: Yes
- Certifications/License: BLS ACLS NIHSS and Valid FL or Compact RN license
- SMOKE FREE FACILITY: All travelers must be Nicotine free no exceptions! Negative 10 Panel Nicotine (cotinine) DS required
- Charting: EPIC
- OnCall: Yes one shift per week
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- COVID & FLU: Required Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Locals allowed: No requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location
- RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
