Job Title: Account Executive

Department: Sales

Reporting To: General Sales Manager

Employment Type: Full Time

The anticipated starting salary range for Californiabased individuals expressing interest in this position is $50000.00/Yr and $75000.00/Yr plus commission.

Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills abilities and location of the applicant as well as internal and external equity.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Audacy office in San Francisco.



Responsibilities

What Youll Do:

  • Primary focus will be to proactively develop new business and build strong relationships with local/regional decisionmakers with the goal of converting them to repeat clients
  • Ability to create highly successful multiplatform multichannel advertising campaigns including the broad reach of overtheair audio streaming digital plus targeted digital solutions with killer lifestyle events and ecommerce
  • Opportunity to bring innovative marketing ideas to life that make a difference for your clients and their businesses and access to selling on a national level within all 50 states
  • Build strong relationships with advertisers to ensure their success and repeat business
  • Proactively develop new business by using all of our advertising and marketing assets
  • Continuously learning and training on new assets and marketing techniques
  • Create marketing campaigns and strategically sell to local and regional decision makers
  • Close business and oversee the of the marketing campaign and exceed client expectations
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Achieve sales objectives and goals
  • Continuously build your knowledge of industry trends opportunities and innovations

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3 years experience in media or sales requiring developing strategic solutions for clients (digital sales experience preferred)
  • A hunter mentality with the ability to proactively generate new business and manage the full sales cycle. Proven track record of exceeding goals and renewing business (sports entitlement and experiential sales experience a plus)
  • Relevant relationships with local and national advertising clients/agencies
  • Thorough understanding of advertising ecosphere including digital audio and attribution
  • Strong problem solving skills positive attitude and desire to win
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs and Google Suite tools
  • Experience with CRM tools and data visualization platforms
  • Ability to be inperson in our San Francisco office for a minimum of 3 days/week
  • A valid drivers license satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check and if the position requires use of the applicants own vehicle proof of insurance is required.
