Job Description
JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift MondayThursday 5:00 am 3:30 pm 410s Schedule Overtime based on business need)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates machine and instructs line help to safely meet production customer and company goals and requirements
- Support company Core Values participate in Safe Work environment and completes observations
- Inspect equipment for safety
- Read and understand a production order
- Meet company productivity requirements
- Meet company and customer quality requirements
- Use forklift crane and manual handling of materials complete proper documentation for materials produced
- Good communication with Team Supervisor and Management
- Maintain promotability to Operator II and Operator III
- Standing and walking 8 to 12 hours everyday
- Repetitive climbing on and off equipment and ladders
- Varying and extreme working conditions outside (Hot Cold Rain Shine)
Qualifications :
Previous experience in manufacturing environment
Previous Machine Operator Experience
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Basic math skills. Ability to read a tape measure
High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional Information :
- 1 year of experience understands and competent in all aspects of safe & efficient operation
- Includes all line equipment processes and procedures
- Detail and Quality Oriented
- Verifiable Dependability and Energetic
- Good Communication Skills
- Basic Computer Skills (Email Internet Excel Word)
- Requires experience with hand tools wrenches banding equipment and nail guns
- Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Forklift and Crane a plus Must be trainable
- Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
