Mobile Optical Assistant at Allders

We are opening our doors to an Optometrist to complete the team at our Sandy branch.

We are looking for a full time Mobile Optical Assistant to join us in delivering outstanding patient care.
You will be an integral part of our team here helping us drive our service offering forward always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate.
We are also looking for someone who shares our dedication to putting patients first and spending the time needed to get to the bottom of their visual needs.
Equally important to us is the way you interact with patients. Providing a friendly informative and empathetic service is a must.
Ultimately you must be an ambassador for our brand and profession within the local community.
Educating others about the benefits of independent eye care is an ongoing challenge and one that we look forward to meeting headon with you as a part of our team.
Duties within the role include
Exceptional customer serviceskills this includes patient queries a welcoming telephone manner preexaminations and dispensing spectacles.
Product awareness this includes maintaining awareness of new lenses contact lenses and frames teaching patients how to use contact lenses and being familiar with Rodenstock prices and promotions
Practice presentation this includes ensuring the practice is kept clean tidy and welcoming and merchandising.
Administration this includes filing efficient recordkeeping manage booking appointments and the use of a computerisedsystemPersonal development this includes communicating with the practice manager on self developmentand embracing training seminars and any internal Allders activity
Skills and interpersonal attributes Written and verbal interpersonal communication skills strong maths skills professional and reliable courteous and able to maintain confidential patient information
