3. Summary of the opportunity
Client Overview: Microsoft AI Design and Research creates new customer experiences in search maps advertising and news. The team aims to make the web a better place for all individuals and organizations fostering responsible design.
Role Summary: As a Product Designer you will contribute to creating AIpowered Advertiser experiences while leveraging your skills in visual design interaction design concepting and prototyping. Your work will help evolve the design system and framework while ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
4. What are the key responsibilities
Collaborate with designers researchers product managers and developers throughout the design process
Create relevant and impactful interactions and experiences based on customer motivations and needs
Contribute to strategic planning and align design processes with business goals and customer value
Propose creative solutions to complex customer journeys
Utilize the Fluent Design language and contribute to the Advertiser Design System
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success
MUSTHave Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Interaction Design Graphic/Communications Design Industrial or Product Design HumanComputer Interactions Psychology or related field
Experience in user interface design with proficiency in design tools like Figma Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch
Strong sense of interaction design including accessibility and inclusive design
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of UX research methodologies
Strong problemsolving skills demonstrated through visual design or user research
Design portfolio and/or user research case studies
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in AIpowered design projects
Familiarity with Fluent Design language and design systems
