Job Description
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in the Medical Device and Orthopaedic Sector for trauma care
- Proven relationships with Orthopaedic Specialists is critical
- Sound knowledge of anatomy is vital
- Own vehicle with valid drivers license
- BS/BA or relevant experience in the industry
- Need to be comfortable in emergency/operating room
- Willingness to work on call public holidays and outside normal working hours
- Clear English communication is key
- Other languages would be an advantage
- Strong admin and reporting skills
- Good interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Must consist of excellent computer literacy skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Identify target surgeons plans and implements appropriate strategies to achieve sales targets
- Build new accounts and grow the territory
- Grow and manage current business
- Identify sales opportunities
- Assist in theatre when required
- Provides forecasts and market research info
- Maintains training in sales skills and products
- Remains current and up to date with industry and competitive trends
- Participates and attends sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours when required
- Basic salary
- Petrol cellphone and medical aid allowance
- Retirement annuity 7.5 of basic salary commences after 6 months of employment
