Job Description
Your Role:
This Commercial Service Representative position involves working in a high energy dynamic and rewarding team environment focused on delivering bestinclass customer support. This individual will be responsible for ensuring each transaction is processed within MilliporeSigma guidelines values and customer specifications.
As a Commercial Service Representative this individual will be required to learn and master several different skill sets. You will respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly. Enter internal and external customer orders and quotations received via various sales channels. There will be occasions where you will solve situations related to orders shipments or other customer related matters.
The Commercial Service Rep will need to research and maintain customer account information within the appropriate system. They will also investigate process and record lost or damaged orders nonproduct complaints credit and/or rebill requests.
Who You Are:
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree in any discipline with 2 years of customer service experience OR Bachelors degree in any discipline with 1 year of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Oracle system and PC applications
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong knowledge around Millipores organizational structure business practices and customer base
- Strong interpersonal communication and written skills proactive problemsolving skills and the ability to multitask effectively
