Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a casual Speech Pathologist to join our mobile clinical team supporting adults in residential aged care.
- Provide dysphagia and communication assessment and intervention for adults.
- Open to permanent parttime (PPT) applicants with opportunities to support Plenas Speech Pathology Telehealth Clinic.
- Suitable for both recent graduates and experienced clinicians.
Reporting to your statebased Speech Pathology Team Leader you will deliver highquality mobile Speech Pathology services to adults living with conditions such as dementia Parkinsons disease poststroke impairments progressive neurological disorders and ageingrelated decline.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties.
- Providing telehealthbased dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
- Collaborating with a national team of Speech Pathologists.
- Advocating for clients with communication difficulties.
- Working closely with care staff support coordinators and Plena colleagues to ensure optimal care.
- Providing consultative and educational support to clients families and colleagues.
