Job Title: Supply SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: York
Pay Rate: 90.00 per day
Contract: Flexible shortterm and longterm opportunities available
A school in York is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs. This role offers flexibility allowing you to choose your working days while providing valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs
- Work closely with teachers to implement individual learning plans
- Support students in developing independence and social skills
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies and strategies
- Help create an inclusive and structured learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
- A patient adaptable and supportive approach to learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to undertake training and follow school policies
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
