Job Description

Hiring Nurse Practitioner(s) to work in the Emergency Department. Full time opportunities include:

36 hours/week (one 24hour shift plus one 12hour shift)
48 hours/week (two 24hour shifts)

PRN availability will be utilized in 12 to 24 hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in an emergency room setting.

  • Responsible for stabilizing critical patients providing health education and counseling ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and referring patients to specialists.

  • Must have strong clinical and diagnostic skills.

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to make quick and critical decisions in an emergency setting.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Current Iowa licensure as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse required. Must have certification in BLS ACLS PALS and ATLS.

  • Experience: Clinical experience in Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care Unit

Employee must remain onsite during shifts. Estimated full time start date is October 1st 2025.

Applicant must pass a background check health assessment and drug screen before hiring.
