Audit Senior Leading Accountancy Firm Manchester
Location: Manchester
Salary: per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Fulltime Permanent
A leading accountancy firm in Manchester is looking for an Audit Senior to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to take on greater responsibility.
The Role
- Conducting audit assignments for a varied client base
- Preparing statutory accounts for Manager/Partner review
- Supervising and mentoring junior auditors
- Ensuring audits are completed on time and within budget
- Identifying and resolving audit issues
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role you should have:
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified or working towards completion
- Experience: Strong audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Technical Knowledge: A thorough understanding of audit procedures financial reporting and UK regulations
- Leadership Skills: Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
- Communication Skills: Ability to liaise confidently with clients and internal stakeholders
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet strict deadlines
