Job Description
Make a Real Impact as an EYFS SEN Tutor.
Are you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students withSENorSEHMneeds We are looking for an experienced and dedicated SEN tutor with a proven track record of success in delivering speech language and communication activities. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans assessing student learning and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.
- This job is in person in the Hackney and surrounding areas
- Day(s) and Time(s): Weekdays // During school hours
- Hour(s): Building up to 15 hours per week
- Subject and Level: EYFS Sensory Play Communication and Language Skills
- Start date: Immediate start
What Youll Do
- Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Assessing any barriers to students learning and working to overcome these
- Monitoring student progress and producing reports
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
- Maintaining uptodate knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition in
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements
Were looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelors degree
- 2 years of tutoring / teaching experience.
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self employed in the UK
